Right of Withdrawal & Returns
This policy explains the statutory right of withdrawal and the return procedure for consumers purchasing from Thefreeway Sportswear® online. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights provided by applicable law.
Rules Summary
- Right of withdrawal: 14 days.
- Reason required: no.
- Withdrawal period: for orders containing several goods delivered separately, the 14-day period begins when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the last item of the order.
- Return period after withdrawal: the goods must be sent back without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you inform us of your withdrawal.
- Return shipping costs: paid by the customer for returns under the statutory right of withdrawal, unless we have agreed to bear those costs or applicable law provides otherwise.
- Restocking fee: none.
- Sale or discounted items: not excluded from the right of withdrawal solely because they were purchased at a reduced price.
- Direct exchanges: not available. Please return the item and place a new order for the desired product, size or colour.
14-Day Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have the right to withdraw from an eligible distance purchase within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.
For a standard order, the withdrawal period begins on the day on which you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the goods.
If several goods from the same order are delivered separately, the withdrawal period begins when you, or a third party designated by you other than the carrier, receive the last item.
If a single product is delivered in several separate shipments or pieces, the withdrawal period begins when the last shipment or piece is received.
How to Exercise Your Right of Withdrawal
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear and unambiguous statement before the withdrawal period expires. You do not need to provide a reason.
You may exercise your right of withdrawal through our electronic return and cancellation function described below, by email, or by another clear written statement.

Electronic Withdrawal Function
You can also exercise your right of withdrawal electronically through your Thefreeway Sportswear® customer account.
Online return and cancellation access:

Open your customer account and select the relevant order. Depending on the status of the order, you can submit an available cancellation or return request through the online self-service function.
For orders that have not yet been fulfilled, an electronic cancellation request can be submitted through the available cancellation function. For fulfilled orders that are eligible for return, an electronic return request can be submitted during the applicable return period.
When the electronic withdrawal function is used, the online process provides the steps required to submit and confirm your request. A confirmation of the submitted request will be provided electronically.
Using the electronic function is not the only way to exercise your statutory right of withdrawal. You may also notify us by email or another clear and unambiguous statement within the applicable withdrawal period.
Consequences of Withdrawal
If you validly withdraw from your purchase, we will reimburse the payments received from you in relation to the withdrawn contract, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered by us, where applicable.
If you selected a delivery method that was more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option, the additional delivery costs are not reimbursed.
For a partial withdrawal from an order, any reimbursement of the original delivery costs will be determined in accordance with applicable statutory rules.
The reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw.
For sales of goods, we may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods or until you provide evidence that you have sent the goods back, whichever occurs first. This does not apply where we have offered to collect the goods.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction, unless another method has been expressly agreed with you and you do not incur any fees as a result.
Returning the Goods
After informing us of your withdrawal, you must send the goods back without undue delay and no later than fourteen (14) days from the day on which you informed us of your decision.

For returns made under the statutory right of withdrawal, you are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, unless we have agreed to bear those costs or applicable law provides otherwise.
We recommend using a trackable shipping service and keeping the shipping receipt until your return has been processed. This is a recommendation and does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal.
To help us identify and process your return quickly, please include your order number inside the parcel.
Inspecting and Trying the Goods
You may inspect and try the goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, in a manner comparable to what would normally be permitted in a physical shop.
For clothing, please try items on carefully and keep them clean. Where reasonably possible, please return the goods with their original packaging, tags and labels.
The absence of original packaging or tags does not automatically remove your statutory right of withdrawal. However, you may be responsible for any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Loss of Value
You are responsible only for any reduction in value of the goods resulting from handling that was not necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning, provided that the applicable legal requirements concerning information about the right of withdrawal have been fulfilled.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal does not apply, or may expire early, in circumstances provided by applicable law. These may include:
- goods that are not prefabricated and are manufactured according to an individual selection or specification made by the consumer;
- goods that are clearly personalised or tailored to the consumer's personal requirements;
- goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
- sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene where the seal has been removed after delivery;
- sealed audio or video recordings or sealed computer software where the seal has been removed after delivery;
- where applicable, digital content not supplied on a physical medium where performance has begun before expiry of the withdrawal period after the consumer has expressly consented to early performance, acknowledged the resulting loss of the right of withdrawal, and the other statutory requirements have been fulfilled.
The examples above are not an exhaustive list of all statutory exceptions.
A product is not excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal merely because it was purchased on sale or at a discounted price.
Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct exchanges for size, colour or other preference changes.
If you would like a different item, please return the original item in accordance with the return procedure above and place a new order for the desired product.
This exchange procedure does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Items
Statutory rights relating to defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered goods are separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal.
If you receive an item that is defective, damaged or different from the item ordered, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can investigate and provide the appropriate remedy.

Where statutory warranty or conformity rights apply, the available remedies and associated necessary costs will be handled in accordance with applicable law. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
